George Brake Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Brake of Marystown, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brake and Elizabeth Power; and his siblings, Peter Brake, Richard Brake, Annie Slaney, Madonna Edwards, Mary Jo Hodge, Margaret Henneburry and Agatha Brake.
He is survived by: his daughter Bernice Walsh of Marystown; his sister Theresa Smith of Marystown; his sister-in-law Sue Brake of Lunenburg, NS; his stepsiblings, Sadie Lundrigan of Grand Bank, John Power of Marystown and William Power of Marystown; and his close friends, Bob Brake and John Kennedy of St. John's. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Please note that there is no food permitted in the funeral home and masks are recommended due to COVID-19.
