She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick; her parents, Martin Melvin and Mary Melvin; her son Donny Ennis; her son-in-law Harry Ward; and her siblings, Lawrence Melvin, William Melvin, Matthew Melvin, James Melvin, Francis Melvin, Charles Melvin, Theresa Fitzgerald and Margaret Burton.

She is survived by: her children, John Ennis (Alberta), Paddy Ennis of Marystown, Patsy Mayo (Bill) of Marystown and Mary Ward of Marystown; her grandchildren, Kimberley, Joseph, Daniel, Emily and Cara; her great grandchild Lyric; her sister Monica Hawco of Cambridge, ON; and her siblings-in-law, Raili Salminen Kuntzel of Manitouwadge, ON and Cyril Fitzgerald of Bell Island.

Due to the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private burial service will take place for immediate family only.
