He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spencer and Mary Spencer; his children, Tina Spencer and Darren Spencer; his sisters, Stella Olham and Theresa McGaley; and his grandparents, Tom and Margaret Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Eddie Spencer of New Brunswick, Shayne Spencer (Alexis) of New Brunswick and Sandra Golding of Alberta; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin, Joshua, Kai, Raylene and Shyanne; and his siblings, John Spencer (Rita) of Nova Scotia and Sheila Bray (Frank) of Nova Scotia.
In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place at Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown on Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th from 1pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm.
In Edward's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Spencer Family.
