It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Stapleton of Marystown, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stapleton and Gertrude Stapleton; his siblings, Michael, Bill Stapleton, Rita Keywork (Ray) and Theresa Antle (Jim); and his pets, Lucky and Biscuit.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Bernadine Stapleton of St. John's, Keith Stapleton (Darlene) of Marystown and Craig Stapleton (Kim) of Winterland; his grandchildren, Jonathan Stapleton Gibbons (Sarah), Stacey Murphy (Josh) and Kelsi Stapleton (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Beau, Tucker, Maddie and Parker; his brothers, John Stapleton (Pearl) of Marystown and Bobby Stapleton (Gertie) of St. John's; his sister-in-law Nellie Stapleton of Marystown; and his pet Charli.
In Alex's memory donations may be made to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown or flowers gratefully accepted.
