He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Saunders; his parents, George Saunders and Loretta Saunders; his parents-in-law, Frances and William Fewer; his sister Dorothy; his brother-in-law Sidney Evans; and his nephew George Evans.
He is survived by: his children, John (Petrina), Sidney (Yolanda), David and Dorothy; his grandchildren, John, Stephanie, Marshall, Braeden, Evan, Zachery and Devin; his great grandchildren, Paige and Carter; his sister Mary Evans; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Fewer, Robert Fewer, Martin Fewer, Rod Fewer and Kevin Fewer.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
