He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rumbolt and Eliza Rumbolt; his sister Viola; and his daughter-in-law Tina Rumbolt. He is survived by: his wife Jane Rumbolt; his children, Gus Rumbolt (Lynn Ann), Ashley Rumbolt, Rene Rumbolt (Victoria Moir) and Samantha Rumbolt (Shawn); his grandchildren, Dillian (Hillary), Julia (Nathan), Amy (Martin), Ryan (Lisa), Darien, Reanna, Joshua, Lyndon and Meika; his great grandchildren, Layla, Decklen, Miley, Maggie and Kinsley; and his siblings, Linda (Bruce), Ruby (Jack), Emma (George) and Albert (Mina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, a private funeral service will be held, by invitation, from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Mary's Harbour, Labrador, on Saturday, May 1st at 2:00pm, with Jennifer Rumbolt officiating.
