It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Goodyear (Lumsden, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goodyear and Dorothy Goodyear; his siblings, Roland Goodyear, Ernest Goodyear, Wilbert Goodyear and Blanche Stokes; his brother-in-law Leonard Auchinleck; his mother-in-law Carrie White; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Winsor, Blanche Burry and Cluney Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Paulette Goodyear (Eugene) of Lumsden, Beulah Firmage (Clayton) of Centreville and Tyler Goodyear (Jenny) of Bedford, NS.; his grandchildren, Jessica Stokes (Trevor) of Lumsden, Jordan Winsor of St. John and Cassandra Winsor of Mt. Pearl; his great grandchildren, Rylie, Rebecca, Robbie, Ryder, Audrey, Jane and Emily; his siblings, Margaret Oldford (John) of Ontario, Barbara Auchinleck of Holyrood, Ann Chafe (Fred) of Lumsden, May Dackers (Peter) of Lumsden, Paula Battiste (Guy) of Ontario, Glen (Elaine) of Lumsden and Joe (Marilyn) of Wesleyville; and his siblings-in-law, Myrtle Goodyear of Gander, Winnie Goodyear of Bellview, Cecil Stokes of Musgrave Harbour, Nina Burton of Greenspond, Ivy Hunt (Clayton) of Valleyfield, Margaret Bown (Bert) of Gander, Bessie Knee (Hubert) of Fort McMurray, Brenda Knee (Ted) of Fort McMurray, Evelyn Webb (Pat) of Oshawa, Kim Burry (Darryl) of Greenspond, Lisa Parsons (Ivan) of Indian Bay, Eric Winsor of Wesleyville and Bob Burry of Ontario. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
