It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis James Meaney of Lourdes, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Monica; and his siblings, Pat, Lawrence, James, Ellen, Theresa and Margaret.

He is survived by: his significant other Marie; his children, Paul (Bonnie), Lou (Maggie), Mark (Maria Rocy) and Patricia; his grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Sarah, Gabriel, Lee and Luke; his great grandchild Madison; and his sisters, Viola and Bernice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
