He was predeceased by: his wife Ethelwin; his parents, Joseph Hurley and Maude Hurley; his siblings, Ford Hurley, Boyce Hurley, Leslie Hurley and Vida Antle; and his parents-in-law, Nellie, Flo, Vivian and Bill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Dove and Daphne Smith (Bill); his grandchildren, Alex Dove (Michelle), Kristen Sabine (Jeremiah) and Mitchell Smith (Madonna); his great grandchildren, Avery Sabine, Harper Sabine and Everly Dove; and his close friend Nora Tetford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM following COVID19 government regulations.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthews United Church memorial fund will be gratefully accepted.
