With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Jean Abbott (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 13, 2018 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Abbott; her parents, Ural Coles and Olivia Coles; and her siblings, Allan Coles and Violet Brace.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Coles (Susan) and Peter Abbott (Lorna); her grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Samantha, Caleb, Sean-Paul and Kiara; her great grandchild Claire; her siblings, Ethal, Rowena, Joyce, Louise, June, Evangeline and Fred; and her close friend Juanita Sheppard.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte.
