She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Lewis and Harvey Wells; her stepfather Arthur Lewis; and her brother Jeffery Wells. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Hodder; her daughter Lorena Wells; and her siblings, Angela Dorey (Ira), Diane Wells (Michelle), Kelly Quinlan (Randy), Shelley Lewis (Everette Randell) and Joey Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Families Funeral Home (9 Forward Dr, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
