It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hodder (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lambert; her parents, Dorman Peckford and Ethel Peckford; her children, Barry Clayton, Jerry and Paul; her grandson Paul Hodder; and her siblings, Ruby Pope, Louise Jardine, Juanita Barber, Beulah Barnes, Melvin Peckford and Roy Peckford.
She is survived by: her children, Clarice (Lester Hodder), Glenn Hodder (Wanda), Ruby Noble (Allen), Evelyn Osmond (Nathaniel) and Cluny Hodder (Darlene); and her brother Junior Peckford (Lucy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Stoneville, NL on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM following COVID 19 government regulations.
