With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Lacey (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), born in Tizzards Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 12, 2018 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Lacey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; her parents, Jacob Jenkins and Mary Ann Jenkins; and her son Bruce. She is survived by: her granddaughter Sarah Rowsell (Registered Nurse); her sons, Ben (Marion), Jim (Joan), Roy (Jean), Major Harry (Major Marina), Bill (Nancy), Brian (Joanne) and Major Gerald (Major Doreen); and her daughter-in-law Winona. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; special nieces & nephews; as well as a large circle of family and friends.
The interment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL.
