She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nippard and Bessie Nippard of Mary's Harbour, Labrador.; her husband Basil Clarke; her siblings, May, Laura, Derek and Bruce; and her foster brother Max.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Day (Ivan); her stepdaughters, Elaine Snow, Marilyn McIntryre (Dana), Cynthia Brown (Frank) and Joan Jackman; her grandsons, Lionel (Jocelyn), Theo (Shanna), Devin (Karla) and Ryan; and her siblings, Herman, Jim (Gladys), Baxter (Val), Dave (Clarrisa), Ruby Canning, Theresa Eveleigh, Greta Watkins (Calvin) and Judy Walsh (Boyde). She is also survived by great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully accepted.
