She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Brown and Dora Brown; her husband Eric Freake; her daughter Phyllis Taylor; her siblings, Stella Jewer and Dorman Brown; her parents-in-law, Eli and Nina Freake; her siblings-in-law, Melinda Sparkes, Ruby Freake, Willis Freake, Oscar Sparkes and Enos Beaton Alfred Jewer; and her nephews, Lorne Marshall and David Beaton (Lynn).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Whiteway (Murray), Glenda Hutchings (Shawn), Barbara Lidstone (Harold) and Beverly Wheeler (Alwin); her siblings, Eunice Cull (Alexander), Joseph Brown (Alvia) and Frederick Brown (Marina); and her siblings-in-law, June Freake, Joan Beaton, Marlene Marshall (Vincent), Sarah Brown and Wilson Freake (Gloria).
