He was predeceased by: his father Calvin; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Broadhurst and Peter Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Allan, Kelsie and Lisa; his son-in-law Robert; his grandchildren, Shane (Jen) and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Devyn Rose and Elsie; and his siblings, Minnie Broadhurst, Dorothy Chambers, Judith Potter (Steven Strople) and David Potter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy flowers will be graciously accepted or donations in Calvin's memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
