He was predeceased by: his son Bob; his brother Scott; his half-siblings, Gus, Jack and Nina; his parents, Augustus and Grace; his stepfather Fred Randell; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Randell and Terry Crewe.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Jeff Tilley (Kathy), Todd Tilley (Joy) and Lori Foss (Rodney); his grandchildren, Brandon (Megan), Alyson (Paul), Alisha, Luke (Sarah), Kristen (Nathan), Sam, Calvin (Riit), Mitchell, Riley and Jacob; his daughter-in-law AnnMarie Tilley; his brother-in-law Frank Anstey (Olive); his sisters, Olive Fudge (Ralph), Greta Osbourne (Warrick), Mabel Starkes (Ralph), Joan Roberts (Amos) and Elsie Crewe; and his uncle Frank. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
