Alma Tucker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Tucker (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Hewitt and Phoebe Hewitt; her husband Gideon Tucker of Batt's Arm; her siblings, Myrtle Nichols (Alex), William Hewitt (Frances), Harold Hewitt (Edna), Adam Hewitt, Mabel Curlew (Ted), Jessie Brett (Alonzo) and Bonnie Combden; her brother-in-law Douglas Tilley; her sisters, Sarah Hewitt and Gertrude Tilley; and her brother-in-law Harry Combden. She is also survived by her inlaws on her husband.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Families Funeral Home (9 Forward Dr, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
