He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hollett and Annie Hollett; his parents-in-law, Melinda and James Mayo; his daughter Christine; his brothers-in-law, Harold Isaacs, Joseph Gerrow and Ronald Hughes; and his brother Lester.

He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Janice Brake (Dale) of Edmonton and Tina Farrell (Dwayne) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Joshua and Jarrett Farrell; his siblings, Gordon (Georgina) of Lewin's Cove, Bill (Jessie) of Grand Beach, Paul (Margaret) of Lewin's Cove, Junior (Marion) of Lewin's Cove, Don (Vivian) of Lewin's Cove, Mitchell (Brenda) of Lewin's Cove, Ruby Isaacs of Marystown, Shirley Gerrow of Toronto, Pam Hughes of New York and Barbara Armstrong (Tom) of Toronto; and his brother-in-law Ross Mayo (Sheila).
