We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2022, at the age of 85, Grace Tetford of Laurenceton, Newfoundland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grace Tetford to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Selby Tetford; her parents, Peter Baker and Stella May Baker; and her siblings, Dorman (Olive), Edgar (Eleanor), Ford, Arthur (Flossie), Harold, Hilda (Joseph), Belle (Burt), Janet and Alice (Leslie).

She is survived by: her son Darrin (Michelle); her grandchildren, Shelby (Kevin) and April (Emily); and her siblings-in-law, Edna Baker, Winnie Baker, Silvia Purchase, Stella Tiller (George), Elsie Langdon (Wilford), Ralph (Olive), Reginald (Ruth) and Stanley Humphries. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation will be gratefully accepted.

“I met cousin Grace for the first & only time when I went to visit Victor Baker in 2018 and he sent me to see her. She gave me the warmest welcome I have ever received. Since that time we kept in touch via post & phone. She knitted me a lovely pair of Sox’s that I cherish. Grace was quite possibly the warmest person I have known. She made sure I knew she loved me. I believed her. I will miss our phone chats. I will miss her. Condolences to her family and all who met her.”
