He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gordon, Wilhelmina Sheppard, Cecil and Rachel Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Linda Sheppard Smith Humber and Jake Smith (Wendy); his children, Sebastian and Christian Payne (Megan); his grandchildren, Mya and Hudson; his siblings, Joseph (Catherine), Gerry Humber (Jeannine) and Jennifer (Craig); his nieces, Hailey, Trinity and Charissa; his aunts and uncles, Patsy MacDonald (Alex), Eleanor MacDonald (Cecil), Gertrude Sheppard, Shirley Pretty, Betty Smith, Randy Smith (Edith) and Attwood Smith (Helen); his close friends, Phillip, Andrew and Byron; and his aunts and uncles, Rebecca Smith, Elaine Mullins, Julie Russell, David Sheppard, Gordon Jr. Sheppard and Boyd Smith.
Due to Covid-19 health restrictions, a private family viewing will take place on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
