It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Douglas Gilbert (Lark Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Gilbert and Phyllis Gilbert; his parents-in-law, John and Mazie Neville; his sister-in-law Helen Seward; and his nephew Jeffrey Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Lynne; his son-in-law Kirby; his grandsons, Reed and Luc; his siblings, Madeline Bartlett (Carl), Gerald (Leona), Ivan (Carol), Lee (Lois) and Roy (Winnie); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Neville, Beverly Callahan (Bill), Kevin Neville (Karen), Paul Neville (Allison), John Neville (Kelly) and Bruce Seward; and also, Susan Wheeler, Trish Vincent-Neville and Sharon Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Care Centre (non-profit) in Calgary, St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour or a charity of one's choice.
