She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Pennell; her son Wayne; her sons-in-law, Wallace Park and Frank Wheeler; her grandchildren, Trina Wheeler and Alex McCarthy; her parents, Stephen Sheppard and Georgina Sheppard; her parents-in-law, George and Annie Julia Pennell; her siblings, Sylvia (Raymond), Marie (Maxwell) and Ronald (Geraldine); and her siblings-in-law, Wilfred (Olive), Roland (Rebecca), Jack (Ruby), Foster (Barbara), Dorothy (Reginald), Hazel and Pauline.

She is survived by: her children, Georgina, Hazel (George), Patsy and Rodney (Linda); her grandchildren, Robbie (Angie), Susan (Mike), Philip, Pierre (Ann), Edwin (Shalenie), Patrick, Russell, Vicki (Gerard), Alison (Dave), Chris (Valerie), Stephen (Jackie), Cody (Stephanie) and Joshua (Katie); her brother Paul; and her brother-in-law Freeman (Beatrice). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
