We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2019, at the age of 73, Austin Snooks (Lark Harbour, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Snooks and Susan Snooks; his siblings, Guy, Hayward, Calvin Snooks and Rowena; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Murrin and Alexander Murrin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Elizabeth Snooks; his children, Larry Nelson Snooks and Laura Susan Sheppard (Terry); his grandson Matthew Sheppard; his siblings, Myrtle Byrne (Gerry Pike), Shirley Hynes (Pat), Ray Snooks (Sharon), Irene Shapcott (Don), Ruben Snooks (Jackie), Ruby Sheppard (Paul Fitzgerald), Ricky Snooks (Cindy) and Susan Rowsell (Boyd); and his siblings-in-law, Kate Snooks, Evelyn Snooks, Joan Jennix (Blair), William Murrin (Gladys), Raymond Murrin (Mia) and Gordon Murrin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross, the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice.
