He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lockyer and Jessie Lockyer; his siblings, Kevin Lockyer, Jerome Lockyer (Kate), Lawrence Lockyer and Sharon Lockyer; and his fathers-in-law, Henry Ayers and Thomas Herritt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jamie Lockyer of Lamaline and Colleen Lockyer of Goulds; his grandson Chase; his mother-in-law Shirley Herritt; his siblings, Veranne Edwards, Philomena Lockyer, Cecilia Cuza and Cecil Lockyer (Jessie); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Ayers, Brad Ayers and Bill Ayers (Juanita).
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Anglican Church. The inurnment was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery.
