Walter C. Bonnell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter C. Bonnell (Lamaline, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 29, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Bonnell and Hannah Bonnell; his son Reginald Bonnell; and his siblings, Leo, Garfield Bonnell, Harriett Hillier, Dorothy Hepditch and Louisa Hillier.

He is survived by: his wife Greta; his children, Walter Bonnell Jr. (Michelle Gosse) of Torbay and Evelyn Pittman (Martin) of Point; his daughter-in-law Elaine Bonnell of Mount Pearl; his grandchildren, Heather Bonnell, Michael Bonnell, Jamie Pittman (Nicole Haley), Jason Pittman, Melanie Gaulton (Scott), Christopher Lundrigan (Michelle), Joey Bonnell and Grant Bonnell; his great grandchildren, Ethan Pittman, Everett Pittman, Olivia Gaulton, Liam Gaulton and Patrick Lundrigan; his sister Margaret Piercey of Fortune; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys Bonnell of Taylors Bay, Marion Bonnell of Point and Hubert Hillier of Point.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions this will be a walk through visitation with a maximum of 20 people in the church at one time.
