It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Graham Gordon Carter in Labrador City, Newfoundland, born in Greenspond, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura Jean; his brother Gerald; his parents, Olive and Quinton; and his parents-in-law, Winnifred and Gerald Summers.
He is survived by: his family Graham; his wife Bernice (Summers); his children, Susan (Charles McCormack) and Paul (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Carter, Keenan, Michael and Lillian; his sister Carolann (John Crane); and his siblings-in-law, Gina (Stan Boyd), Sharon (late Robert Bursey), Arthur Summers (Elizabeth), Douglas Summers (Hilda) and David Summers (Rita). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Graham's memory to Candlelighters Newfoundland and Labrador – a local organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.
