He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Burton and Gertrude Burton (Ward); his grandson Chuck Burton; his parents-in-law, Chesley and Julia Chipp; his siblings, Robert Burton (Mildred), Clarence Burton (Clara), Randolph Burton (Hazel), Lloyd Burton (Ruby), Ralph Burton (Idella), Ella Inder (Chesley), Marina Gray (Raymond) and Rita Hamlyn (Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Noseworthy, Ross Morey, Roy Gillingham and Shirley Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Burton of La Scie, NL; his children, Murray Burton (Michelle) of Baie Verte, NL, Luann Burton (Keith) of La Scie, NL and Eddie Burton (Linda) of La Scie, NL; his grandchildren, Nicholas Ellis, Candice Burton and Aaron Burton; his great grandchild Zoe Ellis; his siblings, Bond Burton, Betty Noseworthy, Doreen Morey, Kathleen Gillingham and Louise Gillingham (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Willie Chipp and Mildred Chipp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
