He was predeceased by: his wife Effie; his parents, Dorman Gray and Alice Gray; his grandchildren, Steven Burton, Kenny Kerfont, Tracey Critch and Jarvis Gray; his children-in-law, Bernice Gray and Frank Hartigan; and his siblings, Dorman Gray (Violet) and Ida Newbury (Maxwell).
He is survived by: his children, Cora Hartigan (Pat), Triffie Burton (Harvey), Olive Burton (Boyd), Patsy Howse, Valerie Kerfont (Willie), Peggy Foss (Gerald), Nola Gray (Alex), Rick Gray, Kenneth Gray, Woodrow Gray and Victor Gray; his grandchildren, Dwayne Gray, Jeff Burton, Justin Foss and Tyler Gray; his son Robert Gray; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Bennett, Charlene Burton, Paula Ryan, Kim Curtis, Patricia Bath and Angie Welsh.
