It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Roderick Quilty of Jeffreys, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Quilty and Honora Quilty; his wife Elaine Quilty; his parents-in-law, Roy and Edna Alley; and his siblings, Josephine Walsh and Carl Quilty (Eric).

He is survived by: his daughter Erica Gillam (Dion) of South Branch; his siblings, Robert Quilty (Linda) of Jeffrey's, Paul Quilty (Trudy) of Jeffrey's, Jerome Quilty (Audrey) of Maidstone, Alban Quilty (Mary) of Corner Brook, Alphonsus Quilty (Wanda) of Jeffrey's, Martina Chaffey (Michael) of Codroy, Lillian Fillatre (Allan) of Stony Plain, AB, Marcella Gillis (Craig) of Lucasville, NS and Karen Quilty of Highlands; and his brother-in-law Joseph Walsh of St. Alban's.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Cemetery.
