He was predeceased by: his parent Richard Harvey; his wife Madonna Harvey; his brothers, Neville Harvey, Roy Harvey and Hedley Harvey; and his brother-in-law Joseph Legge.

He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Harvey; his children, Theresa Gillam (Charles), Carolyn Harvey (Eugene Madore), Christopher Harvey (Wilma Purchase), Richard Harvey (Penny) and Shirley Hulan; his grandchildren, Krista (Jake), Blayne (Desiree), Chantelle (Sheldon), Kasandra (Tyler), Kaitlyn, Cody and Rachel; his great grandchild Alexa; his siblings, Eva Bowridge, Thelma Legge, Bride Gale (Robert), Stella Stuckless (Bill Collins), Martha Gillis (John), Pearl Legge (Isaac), Lorne Harvey (Risa) and Gordon Harvey (Helena); and his daughter-in-law Tracy Hulan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
