She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Pittman and Bertha Pittman (Burton); her husband Garland Combdon; her parents-in-law, Simon and Sarah Combdon; her brother Freeman Pittman; her siblings-in-law, Mary Rideout, Arthur Gale, Benjamin Combdon, Ramsey Wells and Frederick Rideout; and her son-in-law George Gillingham.

She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Gillingham, Garry Pittman and Vernon Combdon (Joan); her grandchildren, Tracy Marshall (Richard), Rodney Gillingham (Jody Hewitt), Charlene Combdon (Steven Rideout) and Jeremy Combdon (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Nickolas Marshall, Alexa Marshall, Alyssa Combdon, Dawson Combdon, Emma Hewitt and Erin Gillingham; her brother Thomas Pittman (Melvina); her sisters-in-law, Bernice Pittman (Vincent Parsons) and Marion Hickie (Hugo); her niece Theresa Pittman (Adrianna Osmond); and her sisters, Marie Gale and Effie Combdon.

In her earlier years, she was an active knitter and knitted items for NONIA and donated knitted items to Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
