With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Yuna Wells of Horwood, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her daughter Sheila; her parents, George Penney and Bertha Penney; and her brother Gordon Penney (Daphne).
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda; her grandsons, Mason and Ethan; her siblings, Pansy Stuckless, Jacqueline Coish, Christine Leyte (Gavin) and Eugene Penney (Rita); and her sisters-in-law, Verna Penney and Sheila Purchase (Doug). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Horwood Pentecostal Cemetery Fund would be gratefully accepted.
