He was predeceased by: his father Allan; his parents-in-law, James and Claudine Bassett; his brother Greg Hall; his brother-in-law David Bassett; and his nephew David Dempsey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Montgomery (Leah), Claudine (Paul Hennessey) and Glenda (Carl); his grandson William Hennessey; his sister Holly Benmore; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dempsey (Pat), Dorothea MacLaughlan (Craig), Catherine Steer (Ian), Janet Paxton Bassett and Millie Hall.
