We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 81, Robert Slaney (Holyrood, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Dylan. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Vaughn, John (Nadine), Betty (Eric), Annette (Wayne) and Craig (Shannon); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Braedan, Noah, Hannah, Kelti and Claire; his great grandchild Lincoln; and his brother Greg (Dianne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

According to COVID restrictions, a private funeral service will take place in Hickey's Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at 10 AM by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of NL.
