She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Kennedy; her parents, Peter Brown and Gladys Brown; her brothers, Brendan, Ronnie (Marg), Micheal (Phyllis) and Pete; her nephews, Billy McDonald, Paul Brown and Tommy Jr. Brown; and her in-laws, Mary Kennedy Cummings, Mary Brown, Alice Kennedy, Marg Peddle (John), Ann, Fred McDonald, Jim, John and Stan Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Kennedy, Beverley Grouchy (Gary) and Shawn Brown (Catherine); her grandchildren, Kim Grouchy, Robyn Grouchy (Ryan), Melissa Grouchy (Matthew), Amanda Brown (Chris) and Shawna Brown (Brent); her great grandchildren, Arianna, Harper, Rowan, Martin, Finley and Piper; and her siblings, Annie, Jim, Joan, Theresa, Doreen (Angelo), Janet, Tom, Mercedes, Ed and Gen Kennedy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickeys Funeral Home (278 Conception Bay Hwy, Holyrood, NL A0A 2R0). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Holycross Parish. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the St. Michael's Roman Cathoilc Cemetery.
