He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGettigan and Mary "Molly" McGettigan. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Ian (Miruna) and Mary Niamh (Conor); his granddaughter Charlie; his brothers, Cyril (Berdina) and Dan (Gail); and his nieces and nephews, Donal, Danny, Peggy, Patti, Dale, Jill, Karyn and Danielle.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hughie's Home (63 Harbour Dr, Conception Harbour, NL A0A1Z0).
