George Russell Holmes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Russell Holmes of Holyrood, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Holmes and Melville Holmes; and his parents-in-law, Nellie and Frank Beeso. He is survived by: his wife Helen (Beeso); his siblings, Jim, Gary, Ron, Vera Clark (Paul) and Viola Desbien (late Ron); and his brother-in-law Kevin Beeso (Stella). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends.
As per Covid-19 Level 4 Restrictions, the Covid Passport and a Photo ID will be required to attend the Visitation and only one bubble will be permitted to enter the funeral home at a time. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, cremation will take place following the visitation and a celebration of George's Life will be held at a later date.
No Flowers by request, if friends so desire, donations in George's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland, Childrens wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
