He was predeceased by: his father Frank Pinhorn; his grandparents, George, Jane Pinhorn, Herbert and Serena Harnum; and his uncles, Raymond, Frank Harnum and Charles Pinhorn.

He is survived by: his mother Anne Pinhorn; his siblings, Kimberley Pinhorn and Michael Pinhorn (Paula); his nephew Owen; his niece Grace Pinhorn; and his aunts and uncles, Marj Powers (Sherm), John Pinhorn (Julie), Max Pinhorn, Louise Pinhorn (Robert) and Maude Powers. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
