She was predeceased by: her husband Eric; her parents, Tom and Naomi; and her siblings, John, George, Lilly and Patsy.

She is survived by: her children, Rick (Rosalind), Effie (Eldred), Judy and Kim (Darrell); her grandchildren, Bradley, Jennifer (Kirk), Robin, Tammy (J. J.), Tracy (Tony), Shawn, Tyler, Matthew and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Allison, Emily, Lily, Erica, Rebecca and Louis; her great great grandchild Ellie Rose; and her sisters, Sandra and Brenda.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ethel's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House.
