With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Pearl Smith (Hodges Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 16, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Peddle and Aggie Peddle; her husband Stephen; her sisters, Jane, Clara and Alice (George); and her children-in-law, Irmgard Smith and Alex Benson.
She is survived by: her children, Don (Yvonne), Eric (Lucy), Wilson (Bev), Pearl (Hayward), Andrew (Sheila), Alice (George), Wendy and Roy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
