Eldred Valmore Avery Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldred Valmore Avery (Hodges Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean (Smith); his parents, William Avery and Susie Avery; and his sister Maxine Soucy. He is survived by: his children, Edison (Chris), Maxine (Craig) and Corinne (Dennis); his brothers, Wilson Avery (Beulah) and David Stoyles (Hazel); his grandchildren, Justina, Jarod, Christoper (Alanna), Jordan (Erin) and Cole (Tabatha); his great grandchildren, Taylor, James and Sallie-Jean; and his siblings-in-law, June Whalen, Gertie Green, Lorraine Baker and Jacob Drover.

Full COVID restrictions will be adhered to including face masks and full vaccinations must be completed for at least 14 days.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Care Foundation.
