She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Simmons and Edna Simmons; her grandparents, Abner, Pearl Simmons, William and Theodosia Duffit; her brother Keith; and her niece Sarah.
She is survived by: her husband John Butt; her daughters, Crystal (Dean) and Wendy (Sidney); her grandchildren, Kayla (Andy), Cody (Breanna), Logan and Jaden; her siblings, Bruce (Joy), Tina (Rick), Donna (Rex) and Tracy (Allister); and her caregiver Valda.
Donations received in Valda's memory will be used to purchase a memorial item for the chemotherapy unit at the hospital.
