With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Bramwell Mills of Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Bramwell Mills to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Mills and Sarah Mills; his siblings, Cecil Mills, Clyde Mills, Alec Mills and Edna; and his siblings-in-law, Jean (Cecil), Edna (Trevor), Myrtle (Jim), Phyllis (Hayward), Edgar, Gerald, Doug (Marjorie) and John (Una).
He is survived by: his wife Lily; his children, Bonnie (Nathan), Lee, Jennifer, Lisa (Shawn), Debbie, Micheal (Dianne) and Roy Jr.; his stepdaughters, Ann (Greg) and Tammy (Jeff); his sisters, Marjorie and Una; and his siblings-in-law, Clemmie (Bill), Vivian, Rose (Alec) and Clarence (Linda). He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vardy's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
