He was predeceased by: his wife Delphine; his daughter Sandra; his parents, Abner and Pearl; his siblings, Lilah (George Blundell), Jean (Cecil Mills), Bertha (Kevin Smith), Flora (George Patey), Ralph (Clemmie), Harold (Edna) and Wilfred; and his brother-in-law William Pittman.

He is survived by: his children, Ernest (Maisie), Randy (Barbara), Roger (Lori), Rick (Sheila), Vera (Lawrence), Bernice (Enos), Linda, Cavelle (Jerry), Christine (Brian) and Corrine (Rick); his sister Elsie; his sister-in-law Wanda (Gar); and his close friend Una Critch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In his memory donations may be made to the Dr. O'Mahony Memorial Manor, Clarenville.
