Mildred Pearl Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2020, at the age of 94, Mildred Pearl Smith (Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Isaac Smith; her grandsons, Ricky Green and Chad Spurrell; her parents, Henry Lambert and Eliza Jane Lambert; and her siblings, Blanche Spurrell, William and Eldred Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Rita (Reg), Juanita (Lester), Janet (Alonzo), Joyce (Harvey), Timothy (Jean), Donald (Madonna), Norma (Shawn) and Darrell (Michelle); and her siblings, Edith, Joyce, Lawrence (Nancy) and Gordon (Ivy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Due to Covid restrictions, visitations were limited to immediate family members, as well as select others outside the family bubble who were contacted. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Beverly Buffett, assisted by Myra Vey took place from St. Albans Anglican Church, Gooseberry Cove, on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2 pm with internment following- COVID restrictions applied.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Daffodil Place.".
