He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapman and Sarah Chapman; his brother George; his brothers-in-law, John Piercey and Tom Carter; and his parents-in-law, Minnie and James Piercey.
He is survived by: his son Colin (Tammy); his grandchildren, Shelby (Catie) and Laura; his siblings, Jim (Cathy), Tom (Shirley), Winston, Earlin (Karen), Ivy (John), Nina (Dave), Esther, Olive (Sidney) and Hilda (John); and his sisters-in-law, Mary, Esther (Richard), Della and Judy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
