We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2021, Walter Whalen of Hearts Desire, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret Whalen; his parents, Joseph Whalen and Lillian Whalen; and his siblings, John Whalen and Josephine Lahey.

He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Langer (William), Amanda Whalen (Justin Temple), Noel Whalen (Susan Jackson) and Neil Whalen (Danielle Hurley); his grandchildren, Maggie Eckert, Billy Langer, Christian Whalen, David Whalen, Daniel Whalen, Phillip, Amber and Adam; his siblings, Pat Whalen (Irene), Reginald St (Cecilia) and Anita Power (Harold); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Whalen and Patrick Lahey.

The Funeral Service will take place at a later date due to COVID-19.
