She was predeceased by: her husband William Coombs; her parents, Walter Carew and Annie Carew; and her siblings, Thomas, Selina, Margaret, Mary, Augustus, Theresa, William and John The.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret (Keith), William (Helen), Walter (Maxine), Ann (Bruce), Daphne (Richard), Mona (Robert), Wanda (Alex), Thomas, Kathleen (Michael) and Georgina (Rodney); her brother Walter Carew; her brother-in-law Gerald Coombs; her niece Joan Langer; and her close friends, Jeff Hudson and Gary Hubley. She is also survived by other relatives & friends.
