He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Pye and Sophie Pye; his brothers, Clyde and Roy; his stepmother Christina Pye; and his parents-in-law, Stewart and Elizabeth Rockwood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Stephanie (Dale) and Stephen (Alison); his grandson Nolan; and his siblings, Izola Holmes, Susie Matthews (Mike), Elsie Marsh (Tony), Sharon Howell (Fred), Ruth Rowe (Doug) and Claude Rockwood (Ruby).
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery Fund.
